THERAPY - A Clinical Manual
By Jennifer Blahnik OMD, LAc. & David Rindge, DOM,
LAc., RN
Again and again, students in
seminars have asked where to find guidelines for specific conditions
and other clinically relevant information. The authors
have experimented with many different approaches in more than
30,000 treatments using therapeutic lasers, and through their
experience, have developed the clinically oriented and
results-based systems in this manual.
The manual is divided into
two parts. The first portion explains how lasers work,
parameters of laser light - wavelength/dosage/power/pulsing etc.,
how to calculate dosage accurately, the physics of light in tissue,
physiological effects, contraindications, special considerations,
laser classifications, what to look for in choosing a laser and
how to treat.
The second portion presents specific clinical
approaches for more than forty conditions, with illustrations,
point selection, dosage and techniques to address:

THE LASER
THERAPY HANDBOOK
By
Jan Tunér and Lars Hode With the growing international interest
in laser therapy, we have recognised the need for a less expensive
handbook on the subject. Therefore, we have updated the 2002
book "Laser
therapy, clinical practice and scientific background" into
a black & white paperback.
Jan
Tunér is a dentist in private
practise, working with lasers since 1986. He is a board member
of the World Association for Laser Therapy. Lars
Hode is a physicist, specialised
in medical laser applications and working with laser therapy
since 1985. He is the president and founder of the Swedish
Laser-Medical Society. |
